Patti is engaging and interactive in her presentation of whatever course material she is covering. She does not waste our time. She knows her stuff. Patti tailors her presentation to our industry using interesting practical applications as explanations for the Regulations. She knows our names!
Patti provides knowledgeable training with an engaging flare. She is able to deliver value training that pulls the participants into the learning, giving a comprehensive and lasting experience. Her methods are both informative and interactive.
I have always appreciated taking classes from Patti as her infectious smile, upbeat attitude and desire to make even the most bland material as interesting as possible makes the time fly and the material as memorable as possible. I really appreciate her humorous joking side as well and the way she makes everyone feel like they have known her forever. She is the type of person who engages people and puts them at ease, and is approachable so everyone feels comfortable asking questions and expecting to get an honest, thoughtful answer in return. She is always prepared with her material and appears to know it and is comfortable presenting it. Patti was meant to be a teacher/trainer and is in the top two to three people I have taken classes from over my entire 27-year career.
We’ve been using Proactive for many years now. Patti not only brings an enthusiasm for the subjects, she brings real world experiences and a vast knowledge to back it up! In this day and age, it is important to have the most up to date information and Patti ensures that you will have it.
What I think we like here most at IDM is the personal experiences that you have and are able to talk about. When you are able to connect the hazardous waste regs directly into what you have seen or dealt with throughout your career it helps people connect the dots between regs and real life experiences and how those regs are applied.
Also, what I know I like is the history behind the regs. For example, in the haz waste course, we talk about love canal and the effects that had on communities. Anything really that you can tie back into real life experiences and day to day activities that is what hits home the most.
