FAQ

@*&%^! If you got to this page, you’re probably already frustrated. We know it’s frustrating when technology doesn’t work the way you expected.

For most issues getting started, the fastest solution is to log out and then register again starting from the correct link shown in your instructions.

If your issue is listed below, click the text to expand it and read more.

I created an account, but I don't see any courses.

Try logging out and creating an account again. Make sure you use the correct link below to register.

You’ll need to use that link above after logging out (the WALKCONEMUL, WALKCONWEG, or WALKCONAGG part of the link is what makes sure you can access the right course after registering). If you just start registering immediately after logging out, you still won’t have access to the training. It needs that “magic code” to work correctly.

I don't see any options for location when I register for an account.

Make sure you start at the correct link before registering. If you have nothing other than “Choose” for location, then the link is incorrect. Close the current registration form and start again, using the correct link below to register.

The WALKCONEMUL, WALKCONWEG, or WALKCONAGG part of the link is what gives you the right location options and makes sure you can access the right course after registering.

When I register, the only location choice is "All WEG Locations" or "All Walker Agg/Con Locations."

Great! Because WEG and the Aggregates and Constructions divisions have so many locations, we made it simple for you. Just leave the default location option and continue with the registration.

I'm using a shared device, and I completed the training while logged in as someone else.

Unfortunately, if you completed the training while logged in as someone else, you will need to do the training again in order to receive credit.

  1. Log out.
  2. Go to the correct link as shown in your instructions.
    1. If you work at Walker Emulsions (in Orangeburg, Portland, or Burlington):
      https://learn.pcslms.com/WALKCONEMUL
    2. If you work at Walker Environmental Group (WEG–at any WEG location):
      https://learn.pcslms.com/WALKCONWEG
    3. If you work at Walker Aggregates and Construction (Agg/Con at any location):
      https://learn.pcslms.com/WALKCONAGG
  3. Register for a new account in your name.
  4. Complete the training.
I’m a Walker Employee having issues viewing or scheduling reports.

If you are only seeing options to take a course, you are likely logged in as a contractor.  Please log out and log back in following this URL: https://learn.pcslms.com/WALKEMP with your Walker Employee login credentials.

If you are having issues creating your own report, or scheduling reports you have made to send, please reference these instructions.

If your issue persists, please submit a support form.

I'm a Walker employee, and I need access to reports, or I need to request access for a co-worker.

To request access to reports in the Learning Management System, please submit a support request. Select the issue type “Add Report Viewer.” Be sure to note which Walker division you work for so we can give you the right access.

To add a co-worker as a Report Viewer in the Learning Management System, please submit a support request below with the issue type “Add Report Viewer” and include that user’s name and email address in the “Description of your Issue” field.

I’m a Walker Employee, and I need to add a new Contractor Company to the “Contractor Company” dropdown list.

If you are a Walker employee with a new contractor company that will need to take the WEG Contractor Safety Course, Walker Agg/Con Contractor Safety Course, or Walker Emulsions Contractor Safety Course, please submit a support request below with the issue type “Add Contractor Company” and include the contractor company’s name in the “Description of your Issue” field.

Please submit new Contractor Company requests by the 8th of each month to see them added by the end of the month, requests submitted later will be rolled into the following month’s submissions.

**Please Note: Contractor Companies can complete the course under Contractor Company: “Not Listed” and still receive full credit. The PCS Help Desk will perform routine data cleanup to later tie users to the correct companies.**

I’m a Walker Contractor, but I’m not sure if I/my employees must obtain this certification.
  • My Company only performs limited work on site, do I need to take all of the modules?
    • As a matter of Walker policy, all medium and high risk contractor employees are required to take the course. This may exempt some low risk contractors, such as those who make deliveries or perform low-risk work in low-risk environments. Walker has decided the risk assessment level of each contractor company, if you have questions regarding this, please reach out to your Walker contact.
    • Yes. For ease of administration, all Medium and High Risk Contractors need to complete ALL of the modules to receive a certificate and gain entry to Walker work-sites.  Luckily this course is a good deal shorter than some others we have created!
  • Our company has worked with Walker for “X” years and we’ve never had to take this course. Is this meant for us?
    • Yes, this is a new component of Walker’s Contractor Safety Program and completion of this certification is required to gain entry to Walker work-sites.
    • If you already have a Hard Hat sticker that verifies you’ve completed Walker’s Contractor Safety Program, that sticker will be valid until its next “best before” or “expiration” date.  After that date, this certification must be obtained to gain entry to Walker work-sites.
  • Which contractor employees need to obtain this certification?
    • Any and all individuals who will perform work on any Walker site must obtain this certification to do so.
    • Please note, company representatives cannot obtain this certification for other employees, individuals must complete this on their own.
